Design Inspiration
In traditional Chinese culture, leaning on a railing is more than a posture—it marks a moment of pause and reflection. From this gesture, scholars once shifted their gaze from detail to landscape, opening space for deeper thought.
Modern workplaces offer plenty of seating, yet few places to comfortably pause and think. The Leaning Stool translates the calm, grounded feeling of leaning against a railing into dynamic support for today’s workspace—softening formal postures and supporting moments of presentation, brainstorming, and spontaneous collaboration.

A Third Working Posture
The upholstered support follows the body’s natural curve, offering stable support with a light lean. Positioned between standing and sitting, it creates a flexible third posture—helping users engage faster while reducing fatigue from prolonged standing.
Optimized proportions allow neat horizontal stacking for orderly storage. Its compact footprint supports high-frequency use while remaining easy to deploy and store, helping spaces stay flexible and efficient. A central footrest supports balance and reduces leg strain, making leaning more natural and comfortable. A stainless-steel protective strip improves durability by resisting wear and scratches over time.
Lighter and smaller than traditional bar stools, the Leaning Stool is easy to move and reposition. Its backless design removes a fixed front or back, enabling effortless 360° interaction—ideal for meetings, quick discussions, and agile work settings.

The steel frame and triangular structure ensure stability whether leaning or sitting. A range of fabric colors—from classic brown to vibrant green and orange—allows the stool to suit diverse interiors. Individually refined or stacked into rhythmic color groupings, it adds energy without visual clutter.
