Design Inspiration

Lugo is a mobile soft seating pouf inspired by the logic of luggage — mobility, convenience, lightness, and order. The design aims to free seating in public spaces from fixed positions, allowing it to move like a suitcase and be rearranged according to changing needs.

The form is based on a rounded cube silhouette. Hidden casters and reinforced corner structures maintain a clean appearance while improving mobility and safety, achieving a balance between lightness and stability.

It is suitable for a variety of environments including training spaces, open offices, libraries, lounges, and creative workshop areas.

The casters allow effortless movement without lifting. One person can easily reposition the seating to reconfigure the space.Units can be grouped together or separated to create waiting areas, conversation islands, or temporary zones.Multiple spatial functions can be achieved simply through rearrangement, without adding extra furniture.

Its compact size allows more seating points within limited spaces such as training rooms, co-working spaces, or multi-purpose halls. Units can be arranged densely or scattered freely. The backless design removes directional constraints, enabling circular, face-to-face, or dispersed interaction layouts.

Soft rounded corners reduce the risk of impact in daily use. High-density foam and a stable base provide reliable support. Lockable casters ensure both mobility and stability in high-traffic environments.
