About the design


Design Inspiration





Swell Sofa draws its name and inspiration from the traditional Chinese yuanbao ingot, a long-standing symbol of prosperity and good fortune. Its full, rounded silhouette carries that reference in a softer, more contemporary way. Beyond comfort, the design is intended to bring a calm, welcoming presence into a space. Its smooth lines allow it to fit naturally into different settings, softening harder architectural edges and helping create a more balanced atmosphere.

A versatile choice for any space





Swell Sofa comes in single-seat, two- to three-seat, and larger curved multi-person configurations, making it easier to match different spatial scales and layout needs.Depending on placement, it can act as a focal point or help create a softer transition along circulation paths. A range of upholstery options is available. The enveloping form, paired with high-resilience cut foam, offers supportive comfort and helps the seat keep its shape over time. This makes it well suited to public settings where seating is used frequently throughout the day.



Swell Sofa uses a restrained design language. Its rounded form and low center of gravity give it presence without feeling stylistically heavy.
