The upcoming 2024 ORGATEC reminds of the perfecting of an industry-wide office automation system realized by the building of circular house and experiential field where settles down transformable and multipurpose furniture to set up a smart workplace, even though being varyingly characteristed by organic modern, hygge, craftsman decor, and postmodern interior style to have certain personal touch. GRADO’s commitment to innovative space planning and furniture solutions leans upon spatial computing of interactive moves that seamlessly blend with the surroundings.

HIGHLIGHT1. Circular Biomaterials IN Circular House
The ORGATEC 2024 trade show is set to take place from October 22 to 25, 2024, at the Koelnmesse exhibition grounds in Cologne. During this event, a special focus area #CircularBiomaterials will be presented in Hall 4.2, in collaboration with Haute Innovation. This area is designed to accelerate the industry’s transition to a circular economy by providing extensive insights into the future of circular material technologies from the biological cycle. Showcasing materials produced from regrowing sources can be returned to the biological cycle at the end of their useful life. These bio circular materials are environmentally friendly alternatives to synthetic products with significantly higher carbon footprints.
Examples include bio circular textiles made from banana fibers, seagrass-based furniture foams, and upholstery fillings made from bulrush fibers. These materials offer benefits such as increased material efficiency, enhanced user well-being in interior spaces, and a higher proportion of office and contract furniture that can be returned to nature, thereby helping to establish closed-loop cycles and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. GRADO has implemented a variety of circular biomaterials in their texture design to enhance sustainability. For instance, these materials include polyester fiber, acrylic fibers, new wool, recycled plastic, PU, organosilicon, and leather. By selecting these biomaterials, we aim to meet the growing demand for eco-conscious materials in upholstery fabrics. The utilization of sustainable materials like polyester fiber and acrylic fibers not only reduces environmental impact but also offers practical benefits such as stain resistance, durability, and ease of maintenance.
An example of these circular biomaterials in action is the use of sustainable polyester fiber in the interior design of Ant Financial's spaces. This implementation showcases the adaptability and eco-friendly characteristics of the material, making it ideal for various applications such as seating upholstery and sound-absorbing panels. Similarly, sustainable polyester fiber has been integrated into the acoustic wall coverings and decorative elements of Tencent Zhongchuang's interior design, emphasizing a commitment to sustainability while maintaining functionality and aesthetic appeal.

PROJECT | INTL. TALENT ENTREPRENEURSHIP INNOVATION PARK
Additionally, the Hangzhou International Talent Entrepreneurship Innovation Park exemplifies the versatility of sustainable polyester fiber in interior design. From modular partitions to textile-based installations, polyester fiber plays a crucial role in creating visually appealing and environmentally responsible interior spaces. This detailed example illustrates how we effectively incorporate circular biomaterials to achieve both sustainability goals and aesthetic considerations in their texture design.
GRADO has also integrated circular biomaterials into its texture design, focusing on sustainable practices and environmental considerations. One notable example is the collaboration with CAMIRA OCEANIC, which emphasizes preventing ocean pollution, recycling marine debris, and utilizing recycled plastic sourced from the sea. This initiative highlights our commitment to eco-conscious choices and innovative solutions within their fabric catalog. Furthermore, the recent update to the Maharam series provides diverse pattern choices, expanding the range of options available to customers. This expansion not only showcases our dedication to offering versatile and high-quality fabrics but also amplifies their efforts towards incorporating sustainable materials and practices in designs.

HIGHLIGHT2. Focus Areas Displaying Future
ORGATEC 2024 is also set to create diverse "Focus Areas" envisioning the innovative marketplace from all aspects, offering an optimized trade fair experience with a new hall layout. Each hall will focus on a specific theme, labeled as a compound with "Focus Area," providing insights into trends and developments related to the future of work. One of the highlighted areas is the "#InspiredAugmentedOffice Focus Area," which explores the future workplace to make offices attractive for employees and enable new ways of working. Featuring live scenarios and mixed reality experiences, this area showcases trends like spatial computing and the future of augmented reality in smart work environments. In parallel, the "#ImpulseContract Focus Area" presents highlights of product and design concepts for contract and building equipment, with opportunities for engaging design challenges and exclusive presentations. The trade fair also includes the "#Indoor&OutdoorHospitality Focus Area," emphasizing the quality of stay and hospitality through high-quality contract furniture concepts.

4S RETAIL SPACE PLANNING
OFFICE SPACE PLANNING

ADVANCEMENT BY THE EXTENDED SKIRT TABLE SERIES IN HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERACTION
Spatial computing refers to a set of technologies that enable humans to interact with computers in three-dimensional spaces. This field innovates a set of technologies and techniques to combine spatial information with computing technologies, allowing users to seamlessly interact with digital content in their physical environment. Spatial computing encompasses concepts like virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and the related extended reality (XR). The #OfficeXperience Focus Area: NextGenWorkplaces" offers a live office showcase created by experts to demonstrate pioneering focal themes that can be practically implemented today. This area allows participants to explore innovative space, product, and service concepts in a cross-industry community setting. The Skirt Table series is developed this way into a all-in-one flexible media workstations that ensure high-quality visual experience during product detail introduction by the automobile retailer. However, this informative process may be further advanced by VR and AR technologies if vibration and shock testing is a need.
