GRADO FW24 LOOKBOOK: Drip Patio Oasis Flare on MOUNT and SHARK

We are letting go of a scene test about how symbolic design language arouses a real frozen floral bud, which seems more inspiring beyond a beautiful still frame.

Patio Oasis Flair revisits the backyard, bringing modern sleek settees and lounge chairs to the forefront. The Flora Chair echoes the previous Lili series, braving the cold while appearing less fragile yet delicate as always by the emerald poolside. The Mount and Shark series are conservatively caught indoors, holding back their primitive charisma. The reupholstered classic Belly Lounge Chairs are gracefully toned into a brilliant red, triggering a striking contrast to the awakening lushness outdoors. An additional sectional to the Eave family is a settee in custom textile cover, serving as a home remedy for the tipsy after-party. Here, we are letting go of a scene test about how symbolic design language arouses a real frozen floral bud, which seems more inspiring beyond a beautiful still frame.

MAGNOLIA CHAIR_JAPANESQUE INTERIOR_LIVING ROOM

The Magnolia Chair highlights the elegance and organic forms of the plant. The graceful curve and gentle embrace it tries to give the sitter are impressive. When it sits in the background of flourishments and blossoms, it feels distinct and independent from the context. We try to draw a connection to the nobility and purity of the magnolia plant, so we wrap it wholly in white Novatex fabric. Yet the dark silhouette is also clearly outlined while the dawn light sprinkles over a Japanese-style bedroom. We hope all those escaping rush hours find a deep calm and peace inside. Imagine curling up in the Magnolia for a sunbath during the weekends at the botanic garden; this is all about relaxation.

BACKWARD RECLINING FLORA LOUNGE CHAIRS & BELLY LOUNGE CHAIR IN RED HIGH HEEL EXUDING ELEGANCE

The classic Romanesque style impresses by utilizing locally sourced materials like stone and sand, which not only contribute to the durability of structures but also express the natural landscape. The vault is just one of the typical elements that are used to create expansive interiors, that reflect spaciousness and sophistication. We identify with their robust structures, rounded arches, and intricate decorative elements to introduce a sense of openness, weight, and permanence. Concerning whether contemporary designs can auto-fine-tune to the classic grandeur, we spotlight the Flora Lounge Chair that reclines backward heavily within a few meters reach from the wavy limpid lake reflecting the surrounding lushness. We also bet on the bold Belly Lounge Chair coming off as such an urban chic with the striking vibrant red steel heels, contrasting against the overwhelming greenery. We embrace Roman legacy but temper it with a modern flair, adding layers of rustic comfort to evoke the leisure of a summer holiday melody.

MOUNTAIN SOFA SECTIONALS EMPOWER INDOOR DYNAMIC

The Mount transitions indoors, surprisingly highlighted in a pale black-and-white background. We realize that the meandering and layered sectional contains the dynamic itself as the shot range gets a lot wider and more informational. The full spectrum access to all sectionals as well as the movable backrests makes it available in almost all forms of entertainment blurring the boundaries between furniture, installation art, and pleasure grounds. The technical role either as a sofa or a bed, also strikes a spontaneity in completing living comfort. As a substantial island sofa set, it can accommodate up to 15 seaters. As highly recognized in public leisure areas such as museums and galleries by its massive, streamlined contours marking it strikingly a piece of sculptural art. Similarly, the Stream Sofa Series also encapsulates the natural power of creating irregular forms and dynamics.

HAMMERHEAD SHARK CHAIR REMINDS OF MARINE ANIMAL PROTECTION

Central to our staged photography is this bentwood single chair, as it directs attention to the protection of endangered marine ecosystems. Specific to the hammerhead shark, which is primarily threatened by overfishing and bycatch in fishing gear. The hammerhead shark’s head converts into a wide backrest and interlaces with the curved metal frame, giving it a recognizable presence in the space. This series also includes the cantilever office type, characterized by full upholstery with leather, a foam-filled seat, and polished stainless steel legs, offering a comfortable meeting experience.

A POWERFUL COMPETITION BETWEEN JI CHAIR AND CLOUD SOFA FEELS LIKE TWO ART INSTALLATIONS POPPING OUT OF NOWHERE

The Ji Chair legs reference women’s block heel shoes stamping the floor confidently in the workspace, while the Cloud Sofa is foam-filled but appears formless and weightless like the ethereal cloud cluster. When they are put on display in the same place, we can find a playful juxtaposition of solid and airy elements that invites creativity and engagement, reminding us that furniture can be an artistic statement.
